Message from our Chairperson
Welcome,
The Association of Travel Management Companies (ATMC) is the central representative body for Travel Management
Companies in Australia, supporting a sector responsible for a significant share of the nation's corporate travel activity.
Our industry is one of the most competitive, innovative and strategically important parts of the travel ecosystem, and ATMC exists to ensure our members are informed, supported and represented with clarity and purpose.
Corporate travel continues to evolve at pace. Shifting distribution models, accelerating technology adoption, workforce constraints and changing corporate expectations all shape the environment in which TMCs operate. While the disruption of recent years has strengthened our industry's resilience, it has also underscored the critical need for strong advocacy, aligned partnerships and a united voice.
ATMC brings our members together to navigate these challenges and opportunities. Through ongoing collaboration with airlines, hotels, technology partners and key stakeholders, we work to ensure TMCs can deliver efficient, strategic and customer-centred outcomes for the organisations we serve. Many issues can be addressed within individual businesses, but the structural ones — distribution change, policy reform, technology shifts — require collective leadership and shared insight.
Our purpose remains focused and future-oriented:
-
Representing member interests in dialogue with suppliers and industry partners
-
Strengthening collaboration between TMCs and the broader supply chain
-
Providing clear, timely market feedback on policy, distribution and technology developments
-
Promoting the value and strategic importance of TMCs to the corporate sector
-
Championing best practice, shared learning and consistent standards across the industry
-
Attracting and developing next-generation talent, ensuring long-term industry sustainability
Be part of your representative body
ATMC membership provides a platform for influence — an opportunity to shape industry direction, participate in meaningful dialogue and engage with peers at our regular forums. Members benefit from shared knowledge, visibility on the ATMC website and the strength of a united community.
As we enter 2026, ATMC's role is more important than ever. Together, we will reinforce the essential role of corporate travel, advocate for fair and practical industry outcomes and help build a future that is strategic, innovative and resilient.
I invite you to join your ATMC colleagues as we lead the next chapter for our industry.
Warm regards,
David Goldman
